Leather

At Riley’s, leather is Mark’s specialty.  Upholstering in leather is a real craft.

Firstly Mark hand selects all his hides personally. One must know which section of the hide is best cut for certain upholstery requirements and applications.

Then there is the sewing techniques and reinforcements needed prior to the fitting for a job to last for many years of service.

Leathers are sourced mainly from European countries, New Zealand and Australia through Sydney leather merchants.

Riley’s recommends Pelle brand cleaners and protection products for the appropriate leather grades.
